What Happens In A Session

 

There's no agenda. No presentation. Just conversation.

You can ask questions about what you're going through.

You can share what you're noticing.

Or you can just listen and see what lands.

It's all welcome.

 

What we've found is that the conversation naturally goes where it needs to go.

Sometimes we stay with one person's question for the full time.

Sometimes we move between several different situations.

The form changes, but we're always exploring the same thing - seeing through the misunderstanding that creates the feeling of lack or that something's missing in the first place.

 

Why People Come

 

Most people come to a Sofa Sit to see if this approach resonates with them.

It's a way to experience our together work directly, in real time, without needing to commit beyond that session.

What often happens is something shifts in the first session or two. Not necessarily something dramatic. More a recognition that what you've been searching for might not be where you've been looking for it.

 

Some people attend once, recognise this is what they need, and move into working with us privately. Others come regularly and the Sofa Sits become an ongoing exploration. Both are absolutely fine.

 

The Details

 

Sessions run every other Monday at 7pm UK time.

Each session is approximately 60-75 minutes.

We'll send you the Zoom link 24 hours before the session.

 

If fewer than three people have booked by that point, we'll postpone to the next session and let everyone who's booked know.

FAQs for Sofa Sit Meetings Here are some of the questions we regularly get asked; Q: Do I need to prepare anything? A: No. Just turn up with whatever's on your mind. There's no reading to do beforehand, no homework, nothing to prepare. Q: What if I just want to listen? A: That's completely fine. Some people ask questions. Some people just take it in. Both are equally welcome. Q: Can I come to just one session? A: Absolutely. You can book a single session and see if it resonates. No pressure to return. Q: What if I'm not sure this is for me? A: That's exactly why Sofa Sits exist. They're a low-risk way to experience the work and see if it speaks to you. Q: How is this different from therapy? A: We're not therapists. We don't diagnose or treat. What we do is point to something you might not have seen before - something that shifts how you relate to whatever you're going through. Some people find that more helpful than therapy. Some people do both. It depends what you're looking for. Q: Can I bring my partner? A: Yes. The £15 covers a couple if you're joining from the same screen. Q: What if something comes up and I can't attend? A: The sessions will be recorded and emailed to you after the session. These will not be used for any marketing purposes to protect the identity of attendees. and for confidentiality.
